Ahmad Rahmzadeh

Ahmad Rahmzadeh is a graduate research assistant at the University of British Columbia. He received his BSc in Civil Engineering and MSc in Earthquake Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and University of Tehran in Iran, respectively. His main research interests are seismic design and evaluation of structures, seismic performance of innovative low-damage systems and nonlinear finite element modeling of structural components. His current research involves assessing the behavior of controlled rocking systems and developing replaceable energy dissipation devices.
