Gayan Buddhika

Gayan received his Master of Engineering degree in civil engineering from Saitama University in Japan and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering degree from University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka. He has more than four years of industrial experience working as a structural design engineer in consulting offices, mostly on design of buildings and industrial structures. Gayan’s current research has focused on developing self-centring hybrid connections for seismically vulnerable timber structures.
